How Does ArcticBlast Work?
ArcticBlast works across six roles: cooling sensation, counter-irritation, enhanced penetration, traditional bruise support, skin comfort and fast absorption.
Menthol and Camphor have the clearest documented mechanisms here, as FDA OTC-monograph external analgesic actives.
Six roles, eight ingredients
Topical pain relief is not achieved through a single mechanism, so ArcticBlast combines several. The formula is built around six supporting roles.
1. Cooling sensation and gate-control

2. Counter-irritation and local blood flow
Camphor is associated with increased local blood flow and a mild counter-irritant effect at the application site.
3. Enhanced penetration
DMSO is included specifically to help carry Menthol, Camphor and the botanical ingredients through skin layers more readily than a standard cream base. See our full piece on what DMSO is.
4. Traditional muscle and bruise support
Arnica and Calendula are traditionally associated with comfort after minor muscle soreness and bruising.
5. Skin comfort during use and 6. Fast absorption
Aloe Vera and Emu Oil support comfortable application, while the liquid format is designed to absorb more readily than a thick cream or gel.
What this realistically means
